Vizio Player does not do photos screensaver

I have the screen saver on my Vizio TV for Plex set to Photos but when it screen saves I don’t get photos - I get the Plex logo. Bug?

For the photos screensaver to display, you need a library that has photos and that library needs to be pinned on the sidebar. Also, if the the photo library setting Edit Library → Advanced → Visibility is set to exclude from home screen they won’t show.
If for any reason the app doesn’t get any photos (and it’s the same for the Entertainment screensaver), then it will fall back to the Plex logo.

I figured that out. The key was to pin the library which is just silly. Why does a library need to be pinned in order for it to be used in this fashion? The pinning function should only be serving to indicate a favorite that should be placed on a pinned menu. It’s not like you don’t have access to non-pinned libraries.
