Want to change my Plex email (the one on the forums, not the one on the server). My old email is going away and I need to update my forum email with the new address. How do I go about this?
The email address used on the forums is the same as whats used for your Plex account. Emails aren’t publicly exposed in the forums, only your forum username (which can be different from your Plex username). You’ll need to change your email address you have on your Plex account using Plex Web. Authentication for the forums is done through plex.tv.
I set my new address at https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/account, but I’m still receiving forum notifications at the old email address. I set the new email several days ago.
Try logging out and back into the forums to sync up the change. Thanks!
Hm, I did this a few times yesterday and today. I just did it again, but it still hasn’t updated.
