Kind of a general question about this “new” feature.
How often do your multiple servers sync your watch status? I have my personal home server, and I have a remote server. My home server, I’ve had since like 2014. 8 years of watch history.
The remote server that I’ve been invited too, I just recently joined it. My friend had to fix somethings on his server (he runs it in Docker and there were time sync issues between the docker environment and the system clock). I’m pretty sure, that caused several things to stop working (bandwidth monitor, trailers, etc). Anyways, after helping him fix all of this, everything is working again… but the watch history hasn’t sync’d yet.
So I’m curious, how often or when does Plex sync watch history between multiple servers? Is there any way to trigger this sync manually?
Lastly, Plex Devs. I often complain about y’all ignoring the features we want and putting in features no one asked for. But this feature. I. Fking. Love. This. Feature. Thank you so much for implementing this. No longer do I have to use a python script to try and sync this stuff. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Whichever Dev proposed this item and did it. Give that person or persons a raise and a vacation.
