Web Player & Bitdefender = Alert Suspicious connection detected

Hello,
When I connect to my plex serveur with its LAN-IP adress, or with my domain-name (I have a reverse proxy, and loopback on my routeur), I get an alert from Bitdefender saying that a suspicious connection attempt to xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.plex.direct.

xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx is my internet IP address (with dashes as separator (instead of point))
and the yyyyy are some caracters with no sens for me, probably a hash somehow…

I would like to know if this alert from Bitdefender on Windows10 is serious ?
Is this address safe ? And why my PMS is trying to access to it ?
Is there any way to not having it anymore ? (except adding the address to the exceptions in Bitdefender)

I had to add that I can use normaly my PMS, even though Bitdefender is blocking this connection.
With the Windows Plex Player, there isn’t this alert.
And last, I can access my PMS form outside my home without problem…
ANd I have the green lock on my Dashboard :

It is very likely a false positive.
Maybe Bitdefender has something like “DNS rebinding protection” built in. This is usually only relevant in the local network.
You need to create an exception for the domain plex.direct in the settings of Bitdefender. Or maybe consider stop using it…

Thanks for your answer.
I do not plan to stop using Bitdefender
But I can add this domain to the exceptions.
Thanks for the anwser :innocent:
