How about a one for one replacement of your standard plugins with web shows:
ABC, CNN, CBS, NBC, HGTV, History, FOX, etc. Not too hard of a concept to follow.
A few suggestions:
React Channel
The Young Turks
MiniWarGaming
The Escape Show - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBEa_nJdE7Ds73_-_liQBRHOgFk5TMGSx
RetroManCave would be awesome: https://Youtube.com/retromancave
RMC would be an awesome addition
Once again I am appalled at the way plex seems to think it is ok to add advertising for this or that media to their paying customer’s home screens.
What web shows do I want? NONE!!! What news do I want? NONE!!!
Stop pushing your random content to MY home screen.
I bought a plex pass to use MY server with MY content.
If you want to be an advertising company go do it someplace else!
If you don’t want to see these offerings, take a minute and go into settings - Online Media Sources and disable them. No muss no fuss.
The problem isn’t how< “how hard is it to remove?” The problem is that Plex seems to feel that putting advertising on paying customer’s screens is a valid thing to do.
Can anyone tell me how to remove Tidal
Please
I’d love to be able to pull content from CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) now that channels are no longer available to do it with.
+1 for the Retro Man Cave.
The Amigos Retro Gaming would be a great addition too!
Basically, I think there needs to be a way to get content from youtube presented as a show in the webshows list…

Destination Linux: https://destinationlinux.org/
A fantastic weekly show covering the latest news in Linux, including:
- Linux gaming reviews
- Distribution reviews
- Guest interviews
- Linux tips & tricks
- Lots of discussion
Presented in a fun and informal style, with great banter between the hosts. An enjoyable and informative watch for all Linux users, from newcomers (perhaps switching from Windows or Mac), to seasoned, experienced sysadmin pros.
I just came looking for a DUST channel myself! Would be a great addition to Plex!
One of the best things on the web for sure!
Powerful JRE
Linus Tech tips and his other youtube channels like techlinked or how whas it called again.
Spanish Tech channel, we upload content twice a week.
Thank you (Gracias).
They Actually have whole content service they are working on called Floatplane. It has all of there content (LTT, TechLinked, TechQuickie) plus other tech shows like Bitwit. It would be amazing if any of the Linus MEdia shows or even Floatplane could be added to the webshows.
