WebTools-NG

Sadly, I’m the only active dev on the project, so no ETA, since it’s simply a hobby for me

Sadly not, it’s the original algorithm I created, that is faulty, and went undetected, since I don’t have such large libraries myself.

It req. a lot of code changes, as well as a lot of testing

I know what it feels, I say quite often that my own team is made of my left and right hands and that the guy in the middle is nothing else than the coordinator

If there is any way I can help testing… feel free

Quick question about the audio export options in NG.
The old version Level 1 had Media ID, Title, Album Artist, Album, Artist.
NG has levels for artist, albums, and tracks, but it doesn’t seem to be able to cross polinate and make a custom Artist with Album or a custom Album with Artist. All I really want is Artist and Album but both exports want to use the Title field for their respective levels (artist or album). Any ideas?

Moved to WT-NG thread

And you are correct here, it’s a bug :frowning:

Thanks for this tool. Can i ask what the Apple terminal command would look like to start the tool with the Token so I don’t have to disclose my credentials, please?

Hi there. Running Plex. In ignorance, I created all of my playlists in a family user account under my ‘admin’ or primary account. Now it appears I’m doomed, as I have no way of migrating my many playlists, which took hours and hours to create, over to my primary, or export/save them in the event of catastrophic failure. Can WebTools-NG help me? I installed it, but it appears that I can’t export other-user playlists. This is my problem. Am I doomed? Can I pay someone to fix this? Halp!

Me~

At the moment, it sadly can’t, but when said, the old WebTools Plugin can

I too seem to be experiencing the “missing apostrophe after export” bug. In my case, it occurs when I am exporting a music playlist. Doesn’t seem to make a difference if the apostrophe is in the file path, filename, or the song title itself, in all cases the single apostrophe is being replaced with a single empty space.

Sorry, should have included my version info in previous post:

Version: 0.3.12.898c1ee
Platform: Windows
Architecture: ia32

Trying to export my audio playlists, but not all of them are showing in WebTools.

These were imported from a Music.app XML file.

The playlists that are not showing up in WebTools were originally in playlist folders in Music.app and still show up in Plex, just not in WebTools.

Can I see the WebTools-NG log in debug mode please?

Also could you provide more details about what music.app is? (And maybe also provide me with an XML file from that)

Music.app is the program that replaced iTunes on MacOS.
The XML file is nearly 500MB. Will upload to dropbox and send only via direct message.

If you in a browser browse to:

http://<IP_OF_PMS>:32400/playlists?X-Plex-Token=<INSERT_YOUR_TOKEN>

it should return a list of all playlists on your PMS in an XML

Could I get a copy of that please, since suspect the type for an iTune Playlist might differ from a regular playlist, and sadly not having iTunes myself, so no way of testing?
