Before the latest server release you could go under the main page for TV show, then edit, then advance. Under this tab you could tell plex to delete episode if they were older than X amount of days. Tell it to delete after watching the episode. This feature was really nice to help save storage. But now its gone, unless its been moved somewhere else.
Such a functionality was never part of Plex.
Are you sure you aren’t mixing up Plex and another product?
Or may be you had a 3rd parry Plex plugin installed?
Attached is a screen shot of how it looked. (Grabbed from another Server)
Plex is the only streaming product I use.
I have no third party plugins installed.
I guess it makes sense to ask what version that other server is running.
Totally weird, I have never seen that page or those options before.
Did you use the Plex Server DVR beta version?
If so, you must not update to public versions of Plex server. Only install beta versions which are announced in the DVR beta subforum.
OttoKerner,
I think you’re onto it being a DVR beta. I think I installed the DVR beta and forgot I did that.
My server 1.2.2.2857
Screen Shot server 1.2.0.2765 (Which I know is running the DVR Beta)

Yeah, that’s a DVR beta version number.
I found this feature if you edit the show and go to advanced. It would be great if this feature could be moved to the “Manage” > TV Shows > Edit option so that it will set it at a folder level. So far I can only set it at the show level which is a pain when adding new shows. How do we request upgrades? OR at the “TV Shows” EDIT option create a selection for which users can delete media from this folder. I currently have my wife’s crap in her own folder.
I would like to allow her to delete it. Thanks
