What is wrong with Plex App on FireTV, and Plex in General

It is plainly evident that those responsible for the Plex app on FireTV devices have not done a very good job at all to date. Trailing virtually all other platforms in features, and providing a poor UI and experience all together. Currently, for example, the UI does not unify with any of the other platforms and is missing Podcasts in particular.

The fact that Plex has no true support, no unified UI and platform direction with FireTV, and insists on pursuing “dead-end” and what many consider “perfunctory” endeavors: namely Virtual Reality.

Pursuits of what may drive members of the Plex team is all fine, providing that user experiences and expectations are met. Who at Plex feels that they have time on these projects while there are so many problems, bugs, and unhappy customers?

Customers and Investors are paying the way for your advancement at Plex. I am not aware of any company that completely disregards their customers/investors and their valid complaints to the degree that Plex has been constantly and consistently doing for so long.

Daily, people are voicing their dissatisfaction and displeasure with your products and direction all on deaf ears.

Forum support is not the best Plex can provide. I am not alone in thinking so.

Efforts should be made to unify the interface, and the functionality of all products. I am not alone in thinking so.

Plex is spending too much time, resources, and effort on the “next big thing” (at least in Plex’s mind) before even having a completely stable current fare. I am not alone in thinking so.

Plex really needs a competitor in the market greater than Kodi and Emby (like Amazon for example). I would welcome, certainly, a company (any company) that listens to it’s customers. Provides support to it’s customers with communication. Has a unified direction, that specializes in results that work rather than apparent boredom and moving to the next project before this one is done. I am not alone in thinking so.
