What status not updating for synced media

I’ve noticed an issue where if I cast synced media from my phone to my chromecast that the watch status does not always get updated.

I have Archer set to sync up to 10 unwatched episodes only to my phone. Yesterday I was doing some cooking and had it casting from my phone to my TV for background noise and got through 5 episodes. When I go to stop it I notice none of the episodes were marked as watched on my device so Sync wasn’t picking up that I needed to replace 5 episodes.

In order to get it to sync properly, I have to manually update the watch status on my phone and again on the same videos on the server as just updating it in one place or the other doesn’t keep things in line.

bumping up. It’s still happening. Don’t know when since it’s been a few days since I last watched the show (thus no logs) but everything is up to date.

Scratch that, I lied. I was streaming Friends S9E17 to my TV. It was synced to my phone, but I was streaming from my server to my chromecast. When the episode finished, watched status on my phone and the server remained “unwatched”. Changing it on my phone (local and server) doesn’t work, have to log into the web to set it to “watched” for the changes to pick up.
