On the Windows Application and on the Web App after the most recent updated I can not join a program in progress or able to select watch from start. The menu pops up but not action will get past the pop up window.
Then if I try and watch a program that someone isn’t watching I get the Could note tune channel (no activity). But if I let it sit on that screen it will eventually start the stream after about 5-10 seconds.
This is happening on the Windows App and in all browsers. Android Mobile, Android TV, NVIDIA Shield, Roku and the browser I can join in progress and not get any errors…
I am experiencing the same issue. I’m running the same server version. The two Windows clients I have running the same player version as above operate exactly how knoll describes.
However! I have one Windows client where I refused the update, and verified it is working correctly on player version:
1.71.1.3888-b32ecaf8
As a workaround, I downloaded the latest HTPC version. It appears to work correctly, but skipping forward and backwards has it’s own issues and is quite frustrating.
Other than this latest issue, I’ve been very happy with the Windows desktop app!
Hello! We are working on a fix for the “Join Session in Progress” issue as we know this is outstanding (and frustrating many users). Once I have more on this I’ll try to drop a note here.
Just updated Plex Windows to this same version (1.76.2.3951-15712eae) and I also cannot play a live TV session that is being recorded. Both “watch from start” and “watch live” options have no response when clicked.
