problem seen in version 1.35 and 1.37, wireless and lan
when i start a movie not at the beginning all it does is give me a grey screen. If it changes at all it will play 5 seconds then stop ( this is the same behavior I get if a pause a movie then hit play) . This happens with or without transcoding.
Is there a setting I can adjust?
narrowed it down a bit. When I hit resume, The movie starts playing (somewhere) but only shows a grey screen with no audio. When the movie gets to the point where I stopped it last time the audio and video start.
ie if I watch 13 seconds of a video and stop it then restart it I will get 13 seconds of grey screen then I can watch the movie from that point on.
Yea i get the same thing happening to me also. Dont know what causing it, but if i stop a movie and then go back to and select resume i get a grey screen.
This happens to me when I force transcoding. And when I stop the movie, Plex thinks I started watching it from the beginning, so however long I was in the grey screen is where the movie will start from on another client. Weird.
I just updated server to 9.7.26 (plex pass only) and so far so good. Movies resume :D
I am having this issue also.
I have tried updating my server, wiping my server and starting again, starting another server on a different machine, reinstalling rasplex but no success.
Movie plays a grey screen until it catches up.
Eg. if resuming at 1:30 it will show a grey screen for 1:30 then play normally.
Plex clients on ios devices and other computers play fine, just rasplex.
