Why does recording failure indicator disappear from schedule/history?

Server Version#: 1.19.5.3112
Player Version#: 4.34.3

I had a recording fail last night due to a tuner conflict. When I checked it last night while it was supposed to be recording, there was a recording failure indicated in the “DVR Schedule” list. Now, this morning there is no indication that the recording was even attempted - as if it never existed?? Why isn’t the recording failure indicator maintained in the list like all the successful recordings?

Is this a bug?

It damn well should be a bug. Why the flip would this information be discarded, yet it always has been.

Notice Avatar episodes. There should have been four recorded from 18:00 to 20:00, yet one was for some reason not recorded…WHY? This type of total BS makes me wonder why I put up with this for so long. I have so many mysterious holes in my libraries that should be complete. Why aren’t they complete? Who flipping knows.

I’ve seen this behaviour happen to me today within a few hours. Failed with a transcoder error (great) and now it has disappeared.

Any news on this?

I’ve had the messages disappear on three occasions in my last two weeks of testing for a possible move to Plex. If that’s not a BUG, there is no such thing. First time I ran out of disk-space, even though I am pretty sure I did NOT, and within a couple hours that error message was gone from the DVR Schedule. Second time it happened, I have no idea why, as it disappeared moments before I was to click on the icon to find out what had happened. And today’s recording failure is still there from a few hours ago. Curious when it will also disappear. Oh, didn’t need to wait long, I had to restart the plex server and they are gone. Geez. -Bill
