I have disabled the theme musics for tv shows and it keep enabling itself again. I have checked the settings and I’m not sure if there is something I’m missing or a setting on the server I can set that keep it from doing that. Another thing is my sister has a Microsoft Surface and the Microsoft Store version of the app does it as well.
The update today rolled back recent changes we made to the storage system, which may have reverted some settings changes you made recently. Are you saying you disable theme music within the app and the setting isn’t saving? (Other users on the console will share these settings at the moment, so it’s also possible they’re changing it).
Where are you changing the setting at? I’m trying to disable this as well. I didn’t see an option for it int he XBone app itself. On my server, I have the " Play Theme Music Automatically play theme music in the background when available." option un-checked. That option is under the web client though, so I suspect it is not affecting the XBone client at all?
Thank you
@MasterChiefmas Press the options button on your controller and select the settings option. In there you’ll find the theme music setting under Experience. As you mentioned, this setting is per client and not global.
I have the setting turned off on my profile on the Xbox. I know that each person that signs in need their own account because I have my son as a user and only allow him certain libraries. Will this setting turn itself back on each time you guys make changes? Since I don’t see this option changing couldn’t there be a way to either save the setting locally on the xbox within a save file or something in the update keep the code from changing that option? Just a thought…
