Why Would Amazon Try to Log In to My Plex Server

The other day I received a notice from Little Snitch running on my iMac that the following IP address had attempted to log on to my Plex server: 34.244.145.207

This IP address belongs to Amazon.

Why would they try to log on to my Plex Server?

The ping from there to your server is a routine check whether your server is still running and accessible for your clients.
