Every time I am browsing my music library from my RoKu it drives me absolutely crazy when I see the following artist bio entry:
There is more than one artist with this name: followed by absolutely nothing.
I have to make a mental note of which artist it is so the next time I’m at the computer I can manually download a correct biography for the artist.
It would be nice if when using the web interface I could filter the artist listing showing only the artists where that phrase is in the bio. Then I could simply spend an afternoon fixing them all and be able done.
Another way to deal with this issue would be for the music scanner to download the entire last.fm bio entry listing all the different artist bios with said name rather than truncating the entry after “There is more than one artist with this name:” I would have extra info about bands I don’t really care about but I would be able to read the info I am interested in.
