After downloading the windows installer of OpenPHT 1.5.0 (using the link in the pinned post), trying to run it shows a red warning box that says: “This file has been associated with suspicious activity.” Any idea why that got flagged?
It uses a free/open source installer program.
The bad boys can’t be prevented from using that too for their own nefarious purposes.
That way, perfectly benign software tools get flagged as malicious by ignorant anti virus software.
Just tell Windows Defender to let it execute. It’s a false alarm.
