Hey guys, I had found this ( https://github.com/docc/plex-wiziwig ) awhile back and tried to add it to my Plex Media Server. It shows up but is blank when I open it up in a Plex client. I've looked at the code but don't know much about Python or channel development, also can't find any other information on this project. Is it incomplete, or do I just know nothing lol?
Based on a quick look at the code, I wouldn’t expect it to work except maybe on the Plex desktop client (PMC/PHT). I’m sure that there are quite a few dead or not-yet-ready plugins hosted on Github. If you’re looking for stuff to “just work”, searching for Plex plugins on Github is not the best approach. If you’re interested in getting things up and running even if it takes some work, then go ahead and fork the project and dig in. Feel free to ask questions along the way and make sure to read the sticky posts in this forum as well as the articles in the devblog (http://devblog.plexapp.com) and the docs (http://dev.plexapp.com/docs).
