Would it be possible to get an export of the data in a simple usable format like xml or excel?
I’d like to export the list of the movies, with their metadata plus the poster and data gathered from imdb: director, year, actors, language etc.
It’s very useful to keep a more text based like track and also do graphs. If Plex offered some visualization too that would be aweome. I use my excel database to generate graphs and see how many movies are in English vs other languages and which languages, How many are from which country, how many are from a particular year.
The medata could add ratings, prizes, synopsis etc. I wonder why Plex takes only a minimum of data about the movies. Why not include the full technical info about movies?
I saw that there are two files you can export but I haven’t been able to open them or do anything with them.
