It'd be nice if you could have an option to keep filters on even after navigating away from the page.
I mainly want this as when I'm selecting a movie I like to only watch ones I haven't seen and I'm constantly having to reselect the "unwatched" filter.
This seems to already be implemented in the Android app but not on the web interface.
This! For the web client, this would really save a lot of annoying, unnecessary clicks.
It seems to remember this per library per session, so every time you switch libraries or start a new session, you have to re-apply this filter.
apply your filters, then click 'add to playlist'.
You get a 'smart playlist' which is exactly this: your filter settings stored.
The playlist option is okay, but half-baked, as it’s really for a different purpose. They are also in a separate area, and the view is different — It’s unclear why playlists don’t have Poster, Detail and List views — perhaps because it was originally designed more for music, and not Movies and TV per se.
Saved Filters that just appear in the “Filters” section of the particular Library —perhaps as gray chiclets that can be enabled and disable with a click, maybe turning green when active, would be a much better implementation.
