[Feature Request] Daily Programing Block

I would love to be able to configure my own little daily programming blocks as an easy to use alternative to binge watching one show. If you remember things like “Must See TV,” “The Disney Afternoon,” “TGIF,” “Adult Swim,” “Toonami” this is what I’m talking about. Take a few TV shows, add them to a “Programming Block” and when you play that programming block Plex will play one episode of each show in the block.

For example, I have a few Disney shows on my Plex Media Server: DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin. To create my programming block, I’d add the three shows, and when I selected “Play Programming Block” Ep1 of DuckTales would play, followed by Ep1 of Rescue Rangers, then Ep1 of TaleSpin, and then prompt for “watch more” or “done.” The next time the block is played, Ep2 of each show would play. Once all the episodes of one of the shows has played, loop back to Ep1 for reruns.

So it’s a playlist but with a bit of logic. Say if you only had DuckTales and Rescue Rangers, and had gotten through 15 or so episodes before adding TaleSpin, the next play of your programming block would be Ep16 of DuckTales, Ep16 of Rescue Rangers, and Ep1 of TaleSpin.

It would also be great to have Parental Controls to limit how many iterations of the block could be played each day. For example, a kid profile(s) might be limited to one full block (1 episode of each show in the programming block) per day.
