Would love to see a TV Show Playlist feature that will allow you could add tv shows from your TV Shows database that would also allow for random episodes from each show to be shown in order of the TV Shows.
IE the TV show playlist would like below:
TV Show A
TV Show B
TV Show B
TV Show C
TV Show D
Where when shuffle is selected the TV shows play in order from A - D but choose a random episode number within that show.
Right now, you can add TV series to a playlist, then go to the playlist and select the shuffle. We’re close, but there should additional options. I have setup a Saturday morning playlist with TV series spanning my childhood, including, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, Flinstones, Jetsons, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Tennesee Tuxedo and more. The way playlist currently functions, I may get three Flintstones in a row before my first Looney Tunes, then I may see the same Jetsons episode I saw last Saturday.

I would love to be able to configure my own little daily programming blocks as an easy to use alternative to binge watching one show. If you remember things like “Must See TV,” “The Disney Afternoon,” “TGIF,” “Adult Swim,” “Toonami” this is what I’m talking about. Take a few TV shows, add them to a “Programming Block” and when you play that programming block Plex will play one episode of each show in the block.
