I have noticed recently that when I pause a video for five minutes, come back to it and play the video crashes to the home screen.
It used to be able to resume playing regardless of how long the video had been paused for.
Just was wondering if this was intended, or if there is/was a certain time out period or if something like this has been implemented in recent versions?
Are you using Google Chrome 51? There is a bug in the browser causing this.

So all we have to do is wait for a chrome update and it will be fine? 
hmm, just posted about this pause issue, didnt know it was a chrome thing. will try firefox…
