Pretty much what the title says. If I pause a video and want to resume it after a while it just shows me the loading circle endlessly. For now it only seems to happen in the web client in chrome. Microsoft edge works fine. I suspect that is because chrome uses the html5 player while edge still uses flash. Leaving the player and resuming the video from the dashboard also works fine.
So it is not terribly broken, but pretty annoying. Any ideas what might be causing this?
have same issue and it’s still not fixed what gives
What version of Plex server are you using, and what version of the web client?
The most recent one.
Web: 2.6.1.
Server: 0.9.17.2

What version of Chrome are you using? You said Edge works; have you tried IE and Firefox to see if you can replicate the problem? For me, I have flash disabled in every browser except Chrome, so I’ll test them tonight. Exactly how long are you waiting before attempting to resume playback?
I just had a movie paused for 30 minutes on Chrome, and it resumed without any issues.
It also works here now. I just rebooted the server and cleared the chrome cache. Should have tried that first. Sorry about that.
