Request: enhance the Play Version information

I use xbox one mostly but this probably applies to most platforms…

Could the “Play Version” dialog show more meta-data information than just resolution, bitrate such as audio channels and encoding and/or if the meta data is unreliable, just show the filename which probably has everything in it anyway ?

e.g. using meta data
1080p, 7.8Mbps, x265, DTA-MA 5.1

or with filename
1080p, 7.8Mbps, DTS-MA 5.1 myfile-name [with a load of AV info here].mkv

Cheers

I can’t agree more with BigBellyBilly, should also display which audio and subtitles are available please

Would be good to have an official (created by Plex) poll on which we could vote for feature to get attention first ?

I would prefer that Plex provide an override option in the filename - the method proposed by @gattotimo is a good one - see here: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/184852/multiple-versions-of-the-same-movie

I’d like to be able to custom-name the versions, I like the suggestion @gattotimo proposed to allow use of square brackets to give versions a custom name.
