As the title says. I wish this was consistent across all platforms because on some it’s really bad.
For example, on iOS, if I pick “Play version”, I only see the resolution and bitrate of the two different files which tells me nothing in cases where both versions have the exact same resolution and a similar average bitrate.
What I would like to see is at least the raw file name or maybe have a way to give the different version a different name. The duration alone won’t help either because I have media where even that is identical.
I will second this request. It’s a big gap right now with the details (or lack thereof) being presented being so “unhelpful” and inconsistent across devices.
I would humbly request that Plex show (at the very least) the raw file name; what would make it even better is if we could create metadata from within the Plex apps to name the different versions and Plex present that name (associated with each file).
