Apologies if this is a dup, but I searched and didnt find a similar feature request.
It seems that only the the owning user account can see the “Program Guide” and “Recording Schedule” screens. This presents a major problem when you’d like to have your kids have access to Live TV and DVR, but you don’t want them to see all your “grown up” movies that only the owning user account can see. I’d like to be able to share these screens with any Managed User account on my server, just like you can currently do with any other Library.
I do see that Plex says that “Live TV viewing cannot currently be shared. Only the Plex Media Server owner account can currently watch live TV”. (https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/115007689648). So maybe this feature is already on the development roadmap. If so, it’d be good to know.
