This feature has been on again off again working since I bought a lifetime pass last year. Is anybody able to reliably use this feature? I have reinstalled both server and clients. Fiddled with lots of server and client settings, used different versions and encodings of video files. It never works reliably. Usually it says converting and within a short time it just hangs at “waiting for download” Can i turn on debug logs and forward them somewhere? What else do I need to do? Please advise.

Ouch. Ok. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll have to find another way of watching **** offline.
VLC works well. I can DL the movie from my network from directly inside VLC.
That is like your car dealer saying, sorry your car does not work after we sold it to you, we will not fix it, but hey you can take a bus instead.
Mobile sync is a paid service, they sell it as part of the Plex Pass. They are selling a service that does not work. Can we use other software, yes, but we paid for this software.

Bad analogy.
The problem with your analogy is that I don’t work for Plex or try and sell Plex Pass to people. I am just a user. If you want to use a car analogy, this is more like a person who owns the same kind of car as you do telling you to use a 4x4 Jeep if you want to take that route becasue your PlexVehicle doesn’t travel well over the rocky terrain. It still works for other stuff. You can take my advice or leave it.
Learn your analogies.
I was offering a solution I have found works when I replied to the OPs second post that said “I’ll have to find another way of watching **** offline.”. I have been waiting for sync to be fixed for years, I decided to figure out a way to watch my media when I travel.
(And I agree with you. I have several posts complaining about sync. I waited two days to get just a little over 400 songs to sync to an iPhone 6Plus. One Playlist is still saying “Waiting to sync” and is at 99% even though all the songs have finished syncing. Ridiculous. But hey, we have VR now! And News! And PlexAmp! Woo-Hoo!!! And remember, you didn’t pay for features, you paid to be a beta tester … )
