I am using Win10 with Firefox.
I am living in Germany/EU.
I refer to the free TV series,
https://watch.plex.tv/live-tv/channel/farscape
which was available in June when I wrote the first message, then 404 error, then it disappeared totally.
I was unable to find it by the internal search engine too.
Now its back again.
Unstable service? Streaming offers appear and disappear from day to day ???
In some other cases, direct links = deep links, like calling a bookmarked URL, doesnt work, while searching the channel by the internal search engine works.
https://watch.plex.tv/live-tv/channel/craction-tv
https://watch.plex.tv/live-tv/channel/rakuten-viki
https://watch.plex.tv/live-tv/channel/top-true-crime
Direct call by bookmark: 404 error
Called by internal search engine results, searching for “craction”: Webpage with channel is displayed.
Some minutes later:
Direct call by bookmark: 404 error
Called by internal search engine results, searching for “craction”: 404 error
Even worse:
https://watch.plex.tv/live-tv/channel/family-rakuten-tv
in German language, was available some minutes ago, now 404 error.
Via
https://watch.plex.tv/live-tv/category/entertainment
, there is
https://watch.plex.tv/live-tv/channel/familie-rakuten-tv-3
same logo,
but this is in Dutch !!!
very-few minutes later, the page still loads but error message
“There was an error loading the video”.
Currently I see this message with MANY channels…
I found both channels via
http://watch.plex.tv/live-tv/category/entertainment
, some weeks ago there was an image-link to the German channel,
which disappeared,
now there is the image-link to the Dutch channel,
of course with different contents on the channels.
Some weeks ago, there was
Now there is
If you enter
Believe me,
its not my computer or my os or my browser,
I NEVER NEVER experienced this with any other website or streaming service, by using a browser, that web pages disappear, or are just callable by internal search engine ect.
And that this changed within minutes, that a webpages was available or not.
Or that the videos on the webpage channel may be played or not.
Something technically must be cracked,
either a proxy service.
or the webserver ( database) itself?
So if the internal search engine gives same result as I know from some weeks ago, and if I call the page by the internal search engine, and get 404 error,
I am frustrated.
This was not 1-day-only experience, Plex now has the repuation to be unstable.
And dont call me “with my computer it works”,
if there is a load balancing, at least the servers dedicated to Europe dont work properly.
And there must be dumb internship candidates, who permanently change the URLs of channels, even change the language of the channel ( and by that the name, i.e. “western filme” to “western movies” ).
Plex is the only known 100% unstable streaming service.
If I want to watch a channel, I bookmark it.
If I want to watch a channel, I dont want that it disappears and appears within minutes, no matter by calling it by bookmark or the internal search engine.
