It would be great if you could upload video from your mobile phone directly to the Plex Media Server. This would be great since many of us now carry around an HD camera in our pockets at all times. I recently became a father so I have been taking tons of video of my son. But I don’t want to go through the tedious process of importing videos on a regular basis. It would be much more convenient and useful if Plex could upload my videos to my Home Movies library so I can watch them basically on any screen I want at any time. There should be an auto upload option like the camera uploads, as well as manual upload that would allow metadata to be filled in right before the upload. I would get much more usage out of my Home Movies library if this feature were available. Please like if you agree and want to see this feature.

I really don’t know why this isn’t added as a feature from the start, when photo upload is added. I need to use another service just because of inability to upload videos.
Plex have announced the “camera upload” feature will be discontinued.
In line with this announcement, we’re closing related feature suggestions.
