[Question/ Request] Music - Multiple Track Artists; Sort Field; Filter

The new Plex Music update is a really positive step, thanks to the Plex dev team! I'm creating this thread as I believe the following 3 elements will be relevant to all Plex users...

1. Filter:
This needs refinement. If I search "Missy Elliott" from the home screen, it works great, pulling back any presence she has in my Plex; Artist, Albums, and music tracks by other artists where I have "featuring Missy Elliott".

BUT, if I do the same search whilst within a music library to search for all songs with her on it. It doesn't work at all. It only reveals tracks where her name is explicitly part of the track name itself. This is the same for any artist, be it Elvis or Snoop Dogg.

There seems to be no way to get a full list of tracks that a particular artist sings on.

2. Sort Fields:
Am I correct that Plex is not acknowledging any of the "Sort" fields in track metadata? This really is a key component to the way many people likely organise their libraries! Perhaps an oversight?

Plex doesn't recognise embedded sort metadata fields?

3. Multiple Artists:
For a track that has multiple artists, what is the best separator to use? And, in using this separator, does Plex recognise each artist as a separate entity?

It would be great if for any artist in my library, that there to be a section to also show what other tracks in my library they have featured on.

Artist section does not include tracks that they have featured on for others.

BUT, what logic would be best to use, explicitly writing the guest artist name within the track name, or including it in the track artist metadata tag with a separator (or both)?

*******

What do other Plex users think? Hopefully a Plex employee rockstar will jump on this soon!

In my recent investigations, I learned that the Sort metadata tags are not specified in the ID3 v2.3 spec. They are proposed in the v2.4 spec, but I don’t believe 2.4 has been adopted widely yet. iTunes also has similar sort tags, but they are specific to iTunes.
