["Solved"] Most shows stopped playing

Hi guys!

— UPDATE

TL;DR: I reinstalled plex and everything is fine now.

I recently did some changes in my setup and most of the videos I’m trying to play just don’t.
On the Nexus Player it says the connection to the server was lost; on iOS that it wasn’t possible to queue the item to play and, in Chrome, simply says that an error occurred.

So, here’s my setup:

  • Mac Mini with macOS 10.12.4 (upgraded from latest 10.11 and never tried to watch a video afterwards until today – could this upgrade have broken something?). IP Address: 192.168.21.200
  • WD MyCloud Mirror . Always has been this one and working 100%. IP Address: 192.168.21.201
  • I don’t want to have external access, so I’m always accessing in the home network.
  • I have my ISP router LAN connected to my Asus (RT-AC68U) WAN, but I don’t think it is relevant.

I think I’m not missing anything about the infrastructure. Before this change I had only one router for the internal network and internet (provided by the ISP) but, again, I don’t think it would be the issue, right?
Regarding the logs, here’s what I did:

  1. Shutdown plex
  2. Wait 1 minute
  3. Start plex
  4. Wait 2 minutes
  5. Play a video with the error (using Chrome)
  6. Wait 30 seconds
  7. Export the logs

The server logs are attached in ZIP plus the client (Chrome) logs where is possible to see some errors.

Ok… so I got fed up with this and reinstalled PMS. Now everything works. I’m pretty sure something got broken during the macOS upgrade (10.11.6 to 10.12.4)
