PlexDVR Setup.
From OpenVix build 5.0.015 a new plugin is available and is coded for use with Plex DVR/LiveTV, download here http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/downloads/ , other teams also have support.
This will allow you to use Plex’s DVR/LiveTV system to record shows from your E2 box directly into your Plex library, and also view LiveTV! on your Android / IOS devices. The EPG system in Plex is powered by Gracenote.
PlexDVR/LiveTV! is ONLY available to PLEX PASS members at the moment and you must use version 1.7.2 or above https://www.plex.tv/features/dvr/
I have attached a quick setup guide.
if your chosen image does not have support, ask your chosen image coders to contact me via PM @andyblac1974 here, and i will gladly help them with the necessary code.
Version 1.3:
allow user choice of what tuner type to setup.
Major recode of plugin to Version 2.0:
1: no need for /www folders anymore
2: hidden bouquets are now also hidden from Plex. (for example when hiding sections in ABM)
3: channel list is always up to date, for example, if you send a new channel list to the box, plex will see the changes without any user intervention (from PlexDVRAPI plugin).
4: the data files are now stored in /etc/enigma2, so they can be easily backed-up/restored.
wait for your team image to build or download from the source ink in my signature and copy the files to your box in /usr/lib//enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/PlexDVRAPI

yup, correct, you need a dual tuner box, as if you not have your box in standby you have no free tuners for plex to use. and as plex has no way on knowing what state your box is (standby or not), i thought it best just to not support single tuner boxes.

Is OpenMIPS supporting this plugin? It doesnt appear in the list of addons. I install OpenVIX for test it.
yes openmips should have this in their feeds.
all oe-a images should have this on their feeds, and I think the most of them have the included E2 patch already.
Thank you for all the effort you put in this plugin.
Just an experience update from me:
running OpenATV 6.0 on a Mutant HD51 (dual tuner) 4K receiver (DVB-S2)
channel list; Netherlands
program guide; Caiway, Noord-Brabant (Canal Digitaal is not available)
running OSCam r11342 with Original CD card
sound quality: perfect, 5.1 on channels which does support
picture quality: perfect
zapping: slow 2-3 seconds
Thank you for all the effort you put in this plugin.

If you use channel list netherlands and national then CanalDigitaal is available.
Zap times for me with a mutant hd2400 are 5-6 seconds, hope that this can be improved.

I tried National before, but a few TV-stations are not in this list, therefore, no EPG for those missing channels will be loaded.
Like channel; 54 = 192TV, 18 = Discovery HD Showcase
One other thing, while in experience fase, National list seems a little instable, works off and on.
i have updated the plugin to allow it to work with 1 tuner, but a warning will show, that you must leave box in standby, else recordings/livetv will not work in Plex.

that just down to to Enigma2 it self, plex, and the speed of your box, unfortunately

Thanks. What kind of Hardware would you recommend?
