PMS 1.7.2/DVR: Recording MKV but no TS-Stream anymore?

I record with “convert video while recording” set to “off”. Before the update I got *.ts files.

I just bought a special ts-cutting-software some weeks ago to cut the ads from my recordings.

Now everything is recorded as mkv. Is this intentional?

I changed the setting to “transcode” and set it back to “off” – just in case it changed after the update and Plex Web shows some false state. It didnt help.

Stopped PMS and started it again. No change either.

Yes - search in the DVR forum.

Sorry, I must have been blind.

I knew there once was a DVR section but I couldnt find it. Thought it was gone since DVR is now part of the standard PMS version.

I will add my response to that change in the DVR section.
