I have noticed this bug,
Click on picture album and pictures load.
Exit out of pictures and go back into same picture album and the pictures will not show.
Only way to show pictures again is to restart the app.

Plex for Android 6.5.0.1776-beta
Still seems to have this bug.
This still seems to be present in all recent updates.
I thinks a have the same issues

They have recognized the issue, we just have to wait patiently now
