Please improve reading of id3 tags for music in Plex.
Would be nice to have some advanced options where I can select which ID3 tags for music I need to be imported and show on UI including TXXX (User defined text information) fields.
I know that Plex already get info from id3 tags for Album, Artist, Title, Year, Album Art, Track and Disc numbers, but I want to see extra fields like “Comments”, “Label”, “Catalog Number” and some TXXX fields taken from discogs.com service (e.g. “Discogs Release Id”)
Some other users maybe don’t need these fields but might want to see other ones like “Composer” or “Grouping” fields, etc. Therefore some menu with configurable list of ID3 tags to be imported/viewable in Plex would be nice to have I think.

+1 I have very detailed tags and its sad that most of them don’t get used… Plex needs a better way to handle multi artist albums that are not considered various artist.
For example an album that is by Steve Aoki featuring Linkin Park should be able to be tagged in such a way to display it in under both artists individually.
Even, I am looking for this feature, PLEX needs to give flecibility to user to enable what all METADATA / ID3 tags he would like to see with his Albums / Music.
As of now, it shows very very minimal details / ID3 information such as “Artist”, “Album”. That is all. I would like to see few more like “Composer”, “Lyricist” and many more.
Plaese add this Feature / flexibility, it is power to the user.
