I want to look at my pictures through plex, but for some reason every time I hit next plex thinks I will only ever want to look at that picture for 3 seconds. How do I change this? Even when I go backwards it sets everything to autoplay. I’m about to pop a vein if I have to keep rushing to hit pause every time I want to look at the next picture.

I reported the same problem 3 weeks ago. No response yet from Plex.
A Plex employee said this is fixed on their end, and will be out soon.

Still waiting. Too bad Plex development runs on the geologic time scale.

My mis-understanding, sorry. Due to the title of the thread, I had the impression the OP was complaining about the speed of the slideshow and that he had to hit pause to take time to see each pic before it disappeared.
I didn’t know that hitting next from a single viewed pic would previously start a slideshow (which has evidently been fixed). But I will take this opportunity to reiterate that Plex REALLY needs to do even a modicum of work on the photo and music interfaces. I’d expect a fixed 5 second slideshow with crude transitions to be cool back in 1990.
Is there any way to have a manual slide show of your photos? Plex automatically rolls through every photo in the folder. I want to be able to control this.
