How to combine a search for a track name with an artist name or an album title?

I wonder, how do I produce a query string that will allow me to search for both a track title plus an artist name or an album title?

I am trying to figure out how I in the easiest way possible can get to a specific version of a song, when it has been recorded by many different artists.

And example could be “Little Wing” recordings - let us say I know I just want to go as direct as possible to the one by “Sting”, on his “Nothing Like the Sun” album.

So, I could start out by searching for “little wing”, which gives me a list of “Little Wing” recordings. In some cases I am lucky enough that the version I am looking for is listed on the few matches that Plex chooses to display. I think ~10 on the IOS platform.

But, usually I am not that lucky, and the next thing that comes to me to do is typically to search for for example “little wing sting”, or “little wing sun” (if I am lucky enought to be able to remember the album name) … but, both returns with the message: “No Results - Try a different query”.

What is the trick that I miss?

The library that I am searching is a Premium Music Library.

Unfortunately not possible. Plex only finds hits in one of the metadatas. But not in several.

Ok, that is bad luck for me - thank you for the answer

Do you know what is the reason behind this design decision?

Is it maybe possible for me to do a feature request somewhere, or something similar? I would really like it if it was possible to search in this way, it would help me on a daily basis.

No, I don’t.
