Include the primary audio (and maybe subtitle) language on movie views
I would really like to be able to see the spoken and subtitle languages when browsing movies. Additionally, the ability to filter on these values would be very handy too.
Yes please, so I can see if my tv show already has dutch subtitles for instance.

I really like to see when browsing in plex (mac version for me) if the desired subtitles are available, by for example a country flag or “Dutch” and/or “Englisch” subtitle.
Maybe with the “View Information” menu and in combination with entry290324 it would be excellent!

I would like to give this feature suggestion a little push.
I’m really missing the possibility to filter my movies and tv shows by audio language. this should not be too hard, since plex checks the meta data of the movie files. (of course this only works for mp4/mkv files, which have the language set for the audio tracks)
Fat fingered it but I was +1 too. I would also like to see the track name and default track flag be scrapped into the plex server too.

and allow editing unknown language in the metadata

Hard to impress your girl with plex when she won’t watch movies in English and I have a hard time finding any native stuff in the library

From time to time I have people visiting that would rather watch a movie in German than in English and then it becomes extremely difficult to find the correct content. Being able to filter for all movies that have a German audio stream would solve that. One could even imagine to look for movies with for example English language and German subtitles at the same time (for the ones that are still learning English).

Was just visiting someone today and this question came up: "What movies do you have that have French audio or are at least available with French subtitles?"
Just want to say that this wasn't a one-off situation. From time to time I have someone watching with me who isn't 100% comfortable with my language of choice and then I wish I had an easy method of finding content with certain audio or subtitle languages. Today I have been asked for this by one of my relatives who is now starting to use Plex (I am a Plex sales evangelist :)).

Well, we are one step closer to the "filter" part of this request as of PMS 0.9.9.1:

Now that the filter is accessible by the API, all we need is for the various clients to implement them.
Plex Media Server 0.9.9.1 is now available to Plex Pass holders.
NEW:
- (API) Add audio and sub stream language as possible filters.
You say this was added and I am very happy about that, but I cannot find that filter you are talking about on the Roku Plex, Plex/Web or the Server itself.
What do I need to do?
