I was browsing through channels last night and found the nrk channel. It worked ok. But there is a new site for nrk with far better quality on video's, i think its html5. It would be great if someone could update/create new channel for this site.
Here you go! The code is not optimized. You might experience timeouts when browsing categories. Just click the same category again and it will eventually display all series/program. Will have a smoother solution when I got time :) I'm also waiting for more JSON from NRK.
UPDATE! Here's a new version where live streaming on i-devices works. Also
- improved the category browsing a bit, but it's still not optimal.
- added paging to most popular and recent.
This version should have a working live stream. All categories are working, but today's version is just too slow. If you choose the same category several times, the content will appear. Planning to improve this of course, but haven't got around to it.
Fork my project on http://github.com/eithe/NRKTV.bundle, do your edits on your fork and request a pull and I will gladly accept so people can know of and get your edits.
I was in the middle of some refactoring when I stopped working on this, and that is why I didn't go back to the "old" code to fix bugs. Unfortunately, I stumbled upon a few problems with the new code (which should be even more close to what the new standard for writing Plex plugins should be) which combined with a sudden lack of spare time (aka kids). Thus I haven't had the chance to look at the code for quite some time... But now "Store Maskiner" is a big hit in the house and I'm tired of firing up the browser everytime it's requested ...
Nope, didn't work. Seems like NRK is modifying the URL's relatively often. I've forked eithe's plugin and requested a pull so I guess it will be available pretty soon on https://github.com/eithe/NRKTV.Bundle
I'm a long time xbmc user who is looking into migrating to plex due to the centralized archiecture, NRK plugin is a killer app for me, thus I really hope you get working again.
A simple question; would it be possible (if changing links are the issue) to make them editable by the user under the "configure plugin" menu item?
