1080p HDR Content Not Tone Mapping on Apple TV HD

I currently have a few Apple TV HDs still in circulation and I noticed today that HDR media is no longer tone mapping to SDR unless I force a transcode. I’ve seen similar issues with recent releases of the iOS app on my iPad Gen10.

Content in question is 1080p HDR, and it plays fine on my AppleTV 4K devices, even those connected to SDR screens.

Has Plex dropped SDR Tone mapping on Apple Clients, or is this a bug?
