Yeah, same here. I rolled back to V17 of PMS and it works fine.
I rolled back to 17 too, works great now.
PSA: if you upgraddd to DCH drivers for igpu then you must roll back those too or it will cause Plex to crash.
did the rollback to 17 or changing out the DCH driver fix the transcoding quality issue?
I had to roll back to V17 for hardware transcoding to be usable. I believe when I was on the newer drivers it would crash randomly.
I had to rollback driver in order to rollback Plex server. Plex would crash if I used the newer intel drivers. Just rolling back drivers did NOT fix transcoding issues

*edit Mine is because of it running in a container. added the required “–device /dev/dri:/dev/dri” to my docker run command and it works.
