greetings, playing plexamp on a rpi right now, I control with my android app and set the Quality to Maximum, yet I see that little 128Kbps in the Dashboard, but I also see the Flac(stereo) so my question is what does this mean : am I playing Flac like I want , or is it transcoded ?
ignore what you see in the dashboard, as plexamp may have cached the track ages ago, so the dashboard doesn’t know whether or not it’s transcoding. believe what you see in the plexamp player.
I’d like to believe what I see @elan but the rpi being headless my problem is whered should I look ?
ah, sorry, i hadn’t realized we were talking about rPI.
tbh, i’m not entirely sure when that transcodes, i think it almost always direct plays.
