2 separate things wrong

1.) When I play content from my laptop in chrome to the chromecast, regardless of what I play, I get the error screen “Something went wrong.” I can ONLY play content from my phone through the plex app. If I play the same content in my browser on my laptop, in plays flawlessly. I cannot cast to chromecast from my laptop.

2.) Some content will play audio through my laptop but will have no audio on the chromecast, even though I have force multichannel audio enabled.

I have no idea where to start.

Can you please they the hosted web app at https://app.plex.tv ( it is almost always a higher version than local one)

The 4.30.s is the player version of the web app player in browser. Which is under the Plex Web heading in settings.

Below your Server name you will first see the Status stuff then the Server settings, under the Servers General Settings is the server version. You should be on 1.19.3.x
