Hey guys,
I have a Braswell NUC (NUC5CPYH). I know a lot of kernel updates have happened and for that I am grateful. I wanted to get some feedback on optimal settings for 24p. When I try to set it up, as I have (using the old pht and even pmp) I just had to turn on switching and go. When I do it on OpenPHT, I get a message that signal was lost. Any thoughts?
As an aside, this is far superior to PMP, I’m just trying to get everything I can out of it.
For my Braswell NUC (NUC5PPYH) 24p playback is working great and I use the following settings:
- Adjust display refresh rate: On start / stop
- Sync playback to display: Off (On if you don’t use passthrough and Off if passthrough is enabled)
- Audio offset: 175 ms
- Enable passthrough: On
I recommend you to use the Intel_EGL image with your NUC and also upgrade to the latest bios (0054 for your model).
Next Intel_EGL image will run Linux 4.6.3 and have updated firmware for improved Skylake support.
kwiboo, thanks. i’ll work with the settings and try
