I would like the option, with 3D movies, to output anaglyph 2D video. Cyan Magenta glasses, Reg Green, glasses, etc. could be used and sides swapped to give a nice 3D experience on any device/TV with any pair of Anaglyph glasses. I currently have to do this manually, and it takes a very long time.
Anyone else like this idea?
I don’t understand why this has been ignored for 3 years, it would be a great feature for anyone who does not have a 3D TV!

on the windows 10 kodi app i can have new 3d movies that requier 3d tvs converted into the old red and blue Anaglyph style for any tv
this works great as i cant afford a 3d tv
and its a cheap way of enjoy 3d movies

in the file name i have sbs and ou

this tells kodi how to convert it
it say if sbs in file name then
left side is blue
right side is red
it then colors them red and blue
and overlays both side in one video
now i use kodi to do this but i have to use my pc to do it
it be great if plex apps could do this for me then i can remove the pc from my tv
I sooo agree … using the VLC player to do this now, but having my PC hooked up the the TV is not ideal in my books as well… with so many SBS movies available it make s for a fun twist to family movie night!
This feature is wonderful!! Please add this to Plex I don’t think is so complex
