Let’s say there is a 3D Movie (horizontal/vertical split, etc.) in the collection / library.
I would love to see a 3D tag next to the allready available tech specs of a movie
Are you proposing this as a purely user controlled, manual setting?
And, can’t you achieve a similar result (ability to search/sort by 3D tag) by using existing tags feature, or keeping 3D titles in a separate lib, etc?
Not attacking the idea I just want to hear more about the overall use case. I use plex to manage a bunch of 3D content and I thought I was alone in that regard.

Maybe tag is the wrong word for it. Not sure how those specs (stereo, Sourround, 1080p, etc.) are called. Specs? Tags?
The 3D tag/spec should get detected automatically from the file somehow, so it’s not a manual thing.
sometimes sitting together with friends you are discussing what to watch. you finally decide and then recon - ah, I have that movie as 3D version only. and some don’t want to use those goggles.
Or maybe i want to watch a 3D movie and want to select by that feature.
