Sure, no problem asking about it. But if you are told 7-8 months later that there is still no ETA, you could just leave it at that instead of dragging it further. Tobias stated he doesn’t know. Period. End of story. Plex will announce it when they are ready.
If you actually read my response to when he said “I don’t know” you would see I said “Ok no problem”. So I did leave it at that regarding theming/skinning timeframe. So what do you mean “dragging it further” I never asked anything else about skinning/theming after that??? Please explain.
What I did respond to was when he did say they were making headway with the new UI. So I asked if that (New UI) would be included in next release or later in which @tobiashieta hasn’t replied yet.
Please explain to me how any of this should result in a sh** storm from fellow users for merely asking follow up questions? You and @danjames92 are perfect examples of why a company can neglect to talk about features and product design with users in a respectful and open way.
I’ve never jumped in someone else’s thread just to say something negative and off topic. So keep that in mind when you talk about a “pain in the butt”.

2 users are single-handedly responsible for Plex not responding to questions? That makes zero sense. That’s some distorted reality you’ve got going on there. Stop trying to drag out a subject that has no information to discuss. Moviefan has responded to several questions I have posted on the forums in the not too distant past and I’m a Nvidia SHIELD advocate (despite the fact I have had major issues with the Plex app in the past) and advocate for people to use the app on Android TV. I don’t see how I am causing Plex to neglect to talk about the product?
He just doesn’t get it, @danjames92 - He’s like that in a lot of other threads. He just can’t stop, keeps dragging on, takes himself way too important. There is no reasoning with him, he is so full of himself and always has the last word. If he asks if he can get chocolate on his next trip to Mars and you tell him chocolate does not exist on Mars, he will still demand to get his chocolate. Super demanding with a weird sense of entitlement.

Lol can you guys even read? I never ever said you 2 were responsible (don’t give yourself too much credit) I said both of you are E X A M P L E S for the behavior not the cause. Please stop misquoting me.
This “users have no right to ask and Plex will tell things when they feel like it” mentality is a joke and you both share it.
If @tobiashieta didn’t want to answer the follow up question about the UI then leave that to him. I have no problem with it. But don’t hijack someone else’s thread just to be a dick and enforce some hidden law you think Plex holds over users. It’s completely uncalled for and makes you two look like douchebags in the process.

Now you’re just being rude. I won’t engage you further. You have your opinions and I have mine.
Let’s just all take a step back here. Tobias has answered, and let’s just leave it at that until there’s more information available from the Plex team. There’s no need for this to become heated, or personal. Let’s all just be civil, and agree to disagree on some aspects.
3 Years later… any News about Skin´s in PMP?
