Recently stood up a new PMS due to a hardware failure. I’m going through my list of users, all friends and family, and adding them to the new server’s libraries. Then I get a “Request failed with status code 429” on one, and can’t add anymore. It appears that I’m rate limited on adding existing users to the new libraries. I’m annoyed with myself for not starting with Plex Home users, and now having to wait until… well, does anyone know exactly how long the rate limit lasts and when I can resume? Or is there a way to manually clear it?
I understand the reason for its existence, not really looking to debate that. Just wondering what manual workarounds there are. It’s really annoying when you’re attempting to do legitimate management activities.
