Hello, I just bought a new Sony Bravia XH95.
It’s android tv and I installed the Plex app from google play store.
Why is not 4k working? I can’t even see the option for 4K resolution under settings, it only shows 480 to 1080p.
If I turn on my older bed room tv which is an LG with WebOs TV I can choose 4K and it’s playing without a problem!
How come my new and way better tv can’t play 4K and it works on my older LG?
I suppose this is 4K content in the first place?
You should not need to set the quality individually… just generally allow the Plex client to stream locally at original/max quality.
Preferably try this with a video that has no subtitles 
Yes it’s a 4K movie and it works great like I said on my old LG TV to play the movie in 4K.
But on the Sony Bravia it’s set to play original quality but it’s only playing in 1080p.
