Hi all, I have a question that’s got me confused. I was testing a 1080p movie that’s on my media system, my system has a graphics card that only runs 1080P. I watched scenes on the software on the PC (connected via HDMI) and ran the same scenes on the Plex app on the Sony TV e900, and for some reason the TV app looked quite a bit better. I have no way to check if it’s an upscale issue or what but my understanding is that a TV upscales anything it plays, any idea why the app would look better?? Is there some feature I should turn off on the Plex media player to switch upscale from Plex to the or something?
- both 1080P original quality 36k
- the HDMI cable works fine
